Adobe After Effects เป็นหนึ่งในชุดโปรแกรม Adobe Creative Cloud ทำงานคล้าย ๆ กับ Photoshop ในส่วนของการทำวิดีโอ ซึ่งมีเครื่องมือที่คล้ายกับ Image Editor ยอดนิยมของ Adobe นั่นเอง แต่จะดัดแปลงให้ใช้งานในส่วนของวิดีโอเป็นหลัก ตัวอย่างเช่น เครื่องมือใหม่สุดของโปรแกรม After Effects ก็คือ RotoBrush ซึ่งจะทำงานคล้ายกับ Magic Wand ของ Photoshop ซึ่งจะยอมให้คุณเลือก Silhouettes และวางตัวละครลงในพื้นหลังชนิดต่าง ๆ ได้ โดยไม่จำเป็นต้องใช้ Chroma screen
